A 4-star hotel in the heart of the village of Montmartre

The 4-star Barnett Hotel stands on rue Marcadet, on the northern slope of Montmartre, between Lamarck-Caulaincourt and Guy Môquet. This is the Montmartre of Parisians: its stairways, its cut-stone façades, the Ordener market and the bistros of rue Caulaincourt. A fifteen-minute walk up through the lanes takes you to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and its panoramic view over the whole of Paris, to place du Tertre and its painters, to the Musée de Montmartre and its Renoir gardens, or to the Clos Montmartre, one of the last vineyards in the capital.

The neighbourhood has much more in store: the Montmartre cemetery and the artists buried there, square Suzanne Buisson, the shops of the Ramey village and rue du Poteau. A little further south, place Blanche and the Moulin Rouge open up Parisian nightlife.

 

A hotel well connected to the whole of Paris

From the Barnett Hotel, the entire capital is within easy reach. The Lamarck-Caulaincourt (line 12) and Guy Môquet (line 13) metro stations are less than a ten-minute walk away, along with bus routes 95, 31 and 80 right by the hotel. Allow around twenty minutes to reach Gare du Nord and the Eurostar, and about the same for the Opéra Garnier and the department stores on boulevard Haussmann. Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport is then accessible by RER B from Gare du Nord.
